Meet Clyde, a striking Chinchilla rabbit, who has been a guest of the shelter for the last year. She's come a long way from the scared and combative rabbit she used to be. She was very fearful -quick to react with biting and scratching. Patience, time and spaying has been vital to Clyde's metamorphosis. Although she is still quick to stomp her feet and growl at new people, her aggression has vastly decreased. When Clyde is outside of her cage, she shows her calm, curious and friendly side. She loves to free roam and she's very fond of her greens and apple bark. She remains an independent bunny who will thrive in a home with humans who allow her to set the pace of engagement. Once trust with her is established, she is both interested and receptive to physical affection and interaction. She will be a wonderful fit in a home with more experienced or patient bunny parents.
